We've moved on from words to sentances...and she even "reads" her books aloud these days! Here are some of my favorites:

Mama's Ear

For the past few months, Kira has found a new "soothie" in mama's ears. Every night and every naptime, we lay down together. Mama reads books and Kira starts playing with mama's ear. IF I turn over and she can't reach it, she will climb over until her little fingers find it and she's at it again. I have no idea what it is about my ears that are so soothing, but I guess there could be worse things...
Last night, she was SO tired and had a bad cold. I went to pick her up at Grandma's house and she reached up for me to hold her (unusual these days!) and layed her head on my shoulder and her little pudgy hands went right for the ears. So sweet...
But this might explain to you why no one has seen me in earrings in a while!
