push my buttons

I have no idea when she figured this out, but she has learned how to push the buttons on all her toys to make them move, sing, or stop. She especially loves her car, the puppy that "Christmas" gave her for Christmas, and the tumbling tigger! Of course, this also means she has learned how to use the remote for the TV and loves to change the channel and turn the volume up and down!
And on a side note, totally unrelated to buttons of any kind...
Kira slept in her own bed last night! She fell asleep at 7:20, poor tired thing. Since Jeremy and I had to continue to hacksaw our toilet seat off the toilet (don't ask...it's one of the joys of an old, broken down house!) to put a toilet lock on, I put her in the crib instead of our bed. She slept there for EIGHT HOURS! So bittersweet. I sure do love snuggling her at night, but...the ROOM, the FREEDOM, the not sleeping with something on my chest (well, actually the cat took over that part). And we did get the seat off and the lock on. No more splashing in the toilet!
